I'm a 32 yr old CrossFit Coach and Athlete, World Record Holder, British Weight Lifting L2 Tutor and Assessor, Regional Champion Swimmer, ex MMA fighter and grappler, and part time AFO for a specialist armed police service in the UK. I have been involved in CrossFit for almost 5 years now, having coached at 2 boxes before moving to my current box, CrossFit Portishead, which I co-run with a long time friend.
Some of my many high points, aside from my 2 kids and beautiful wife, are winning back to back Mens Health Competitions, setting a World Record and becoming a Sponsored Athlete with Grenade, whom I've been with since 2011.
A low point in recent time, was becoming ill just as the 2016 CrossFit Open started. I was knocked out for 5 weeks and was unable to truly test the past 18 months of training, which had included a lot of sacrifices to get my training done. But if you get knocked down, you get back up right. Training is back into full swing after a very hectic summer, with the next goal being to qualify for the 2017 CrossFit Meridian Regionals.
